"If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies; succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway and
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; it was never between you and them anyway."

There is a continuing need in the Clackamas area

Until ADR opened its doors, there had been no recovery club in the area. Meetings are frequently held in churches or hospitals, and even in a bar. Many of our visitors have been court-ordered to attend a few meetings as part of their program requirements--some actually stay and request help. Other visitors come in on their own initiative to seek help with an addiction problem.
